Celebrate Earth Day in style with The Point and their Big Green Ideas Day, an uplifting day designed to spark creativity, connection, and positive change. Leave feeling inspired to take your own big green ideas forward.
Molly Palmrock, nature artist, gardener, workshop leader, and community connector, will be joining The Point to lead a Junk Printing (collograph) workshop throughout the day from 10am - 4pm.
This is the first of three Green Gallery workshops that Molly will be leading at The Point this spring and summer. Join Molly for a hands-on drop-in session exploring what a green gallery could look like; together, you'll be encouraged to explore ideas surrounding and imagining a more sustainable future for galleries, exhibitions, and cultural institutions.
Create your very own sustainable artwork using recycled materials. In this all-ages drop-in workshop, you’ll learn how to make your own printing plate using items you might otherwise throw away.
Give and Take Exchange 10am - 3pm
The Give and Take Exchange runs in two parts:
Give: 10am – 11.30am
Take: 1pm – 3pm
As part of the day, The Point will host its Give and Take Exchange, encouraging you to rethink the life of your clothing, shoes, accessories, toys, books, and other household items.
There are numerous benefits to supporting second-hand gifting, and helping the environment is one of them.
