Sustainability Hub: Big Ideas Day to inspire environmental action
This Saturday 20 April at The Point
An event to inspire an environmentally friendly approach to day-to-day life takes place in Eastleigh next weekend.
The Point Eastleigh’s Sustainability Hub: Big Green Ideas Day is back on Saturday 20 April, from 10am-3pm, and the venue is teaming up with Wild Hive Collective for a day full of inspiration to take small but mighty environmental actions together.
The day includes the chance to take part in paper-based crafts, swap seed and plants, find some treasures at the give and take exchange and visit a range of stallholders who are leading sustainable initiatives going on in and around Eastleigh.
It finishes with family show Breathe by Half a String theatre company: experience a story told from the perspective of an acorn in this delicate puppetry show full of beautiful detailed sets, music and live camera work.
Louisa Milburn, The Point Eastleigh's Business Director, looks forward to welcoming people to the event. She said: "Throughout the day The Point will be bursting with ideas and people dedicated to making a difference to climate change through creative and community action. The Sustainability Hub initiative is a great way to celebrate what companies and individuals are already doing to make a difference to the climate and biodiversity across the Borough and improve the planet for future generations."
