Coming to Itchen Valley Country Park on Friday (5 September) Frontier Sapiens Film Festival is the UK’s largest open-air adventure film tour, bringing you inspiration and adventure to the big screen, outdoors.
Join us for an evening under the stars watching a brand-new line-up of short films featuring epic adventures, cultural stories and environmental issues from some of the world’s best filmmakers.
This year you’ll have the chance to view:
Two Point Four - a 2000ft big-wall climb in Norway
Alone across Gola - an audacious cycle expedition through the Gola rain-forest,
Notes from the Clouds - a look into the life of a shepherd in the Pyrenees
Alpha - three friends with life changing spinal cord injuries attempt to cross Vatnajokull, the largest ice cap in Western Europe
Alone Across the Gola - Alone Across Gola follows Jude Kriwald’s extraordinary solo journey through Liberia's dense Gola rainforest
King Of The Fells - A humble sheep farmer from the Lake District, Joss Naylor is arguably the greatest fell runner of all time. King of the Fells tells the story of Joss and his friend Frank Davies taking on the iconic Three Peaks challenge in 1971
