Key dates, documents and deadlines for Thursday 4 May
The Returning Officer for Eastleigh would like to invite any prospective candidate who is interested in standing at the forthcoming Eastleigh Borough & Parish/Town Councils elections in May 2023, to attend an online briefing on Tuesday 14 March at 2pm.
The session will last around an hour and it will be invaluable to help explain the election process. There will be guidance on how to complete a nomination paper along with information about key deadlines throughout the election period such as registering to vote, postal voting, and the count process.
Any person wishing to attend should email elections@eastleigh.gov.uk and a formal invite containing the MS Teams link will be emailed to you.

Counting of votes
The verification and counting of votes will be held after the close of poll at 10pm on Thursday 4 May at Places Leisure Eastleigh, Passfield Avenue, Eastleigh SO50 9NL. Entry will only be available to staff, candidates, and agents.
