Moving home

If you are moving home, you need to let us know your change of address

If you are moving in, you will need to tell us:

  • The names of the person(s) liable for Council Tax
  • Your moving in date 
  • Your email address where we can correspond and/or send your bills
  • The date you purchased the property or, if rented, your tenancy start date
  • If purchased but to remain empty, your correspondence address
  • Your previous address if within Eastleigh
  • The forwarding address of the previous owner or tenant (where possible)

If you are moving out, you will need to tell us:

  • Your Council Tax Account reference (shown on all correspondence from us)
  • Your moving out date 
  • Your forwarding address
  • The date you sold the property or, if rented, your tenancy end date
  • The name(s) of the new owner or tenant (where possible)
  • The agent selling the property or landlord where rented
