Report an incident of dog fouling
To address the problem of dog fouling, we have made an order under the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act 2005 that requires all dog owners and walkers to clean up after their dog if the dog fouls in a place to which the public has access.
Offenders may be given a fixed penalty notice, or in certain circumstances may be prosecuted. Non-payment of a fixed penalty notice may result in prosecution.
People who are registered blind or who have a visual impairment and are reliant on a trained assistance dog are exempt from this order.
Securely bagged dog waste should be placed in either a dog waste bin, litter bin or your black waste bin.
We are also responsible for emptying dog waste bins and dual waste bins and the installation of new dual bins. If there is somewhere you think a dog bin should go then please contact us.
