Economic Development Service
Our purpose is to help businesses of all sizes and improve the economic prosperity and well being of our Borough. You can find out more about our core priorities for 2014/15 by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page.
We’re also very proud to have been awarded the Federation of Small Businesses (Hants and IoW) “Best Small Business Friendly Award” for 2014.
If you are thinking about starting up a business or are already established, small or large, we are here to:
- help businesses already based in the Borough of Eastleigh with general and specific business enquiries
- businesses wanting more information about establishing themselves in the borough
- people thinking about starting up a business in the borough
- provide general advice and support about funding, including training grants
We provide in-depth economic data, recorded in our annual Economic Profile, which can be accessed (PDF) via the link at the bottom of the page.
We also supply computer training for residents to improve their skills to assist them into employment at The Learning Centre.
Chris Herbert - Senior Economic Development Officer
