The following Eastleigh Borough
Council meetings are due to take place. Set out below is some
background information of what the meetings will be
considering.
Prosperity Scrutiny Panel
(Tuesday 1 July 2008 -

Bishopstoke, Fair Oak and Horton Heath Local Area
Committee
(Wednesday 2 July 2008 at 7.00pm in the
Committee Room, Civic Offices, Eastleigh – PLEASE NOTE
CHANGE OF VENUE)
The Committee will consider:
- The release of Developer's Contributions to
construct a footway in Church Road, Bishopstoke; and
- The confirmation of Tree Preservation Order
607(a Lime tree within the curtilage of St. Thomas Church, Fair Oak
Court, Fair Oak) to front of church hall and along southern
boundary of property.
Bursledon Hamble-le-Rice and Hound Local Area
Committee
(Thursday 3 July at 5.30pm at Hamble Primary
School, Hamble Lane, Hamble-le-Rice)
The Committee will consider:
- The allocation of funds for local projects
including replacement of street name plates in the Thornhill area;
biodiversity works at Priors Hill Copse reserve; and new street
lamp in the cut between church Road, Yorke Way and Chalmers Way,
Hamble;
- Hamble Conservation Area – appraisal of
Crowsport Estate, Hamble-le-Rice;
- Objection report to Hamble Parking proposals,
with options and recommendation on what should happen next;
- Hamble-le-Rice Parking – Options that are
under consideration for the provision of additional long stay
parking close to the village; and
- Allocation of funds for the Pilands Wood
Community Association.
The Committee will consider development
applications for:
- A retrospective application for the
construction of a chalet bungalow at Plot 5, 17 St Marys Road,
Netley Abbey;
- Construction of a carport at Plot 5, 17 St
Marys Road, Netley Abbey;
- Construction of 4no. dwellings at Plots 1-4,
17 St Marys Road, Netley Abbey;
- Construction of 2no. detached 3 bed bungalows
at Landor & Clovelly, Kanes Hill, Thornhill, Southampton;
- Erection of detached 3 bed dwelling at 72
Hamble Lane, Hamble-le-Rice;
- Provision of multi-use games area with 3m
high mesh fencing at Pilands Wood Open Space, Bursledon.
