Information on our tree service responsibilities within Eastleigh
We are responsible for all Eastleigh council trees within the borough, this includes parks and open spaces, woodlands and other assets. Additionally, we manage Tree Preservation Orders and consult on planning applications relating to trees on behalf of Development Management.
Please note as of 1st April 2017, we no longer manage Hampshire Highways trees. We will not attend to or consult on any highway tree matters. All enquiries relating to trees within the highway or endangering the highway will need to be reported directly to Hampshire County Council
We do not currently offer a consultancy service or inspect privately owned trees. Advice on private trees should be sought through a suitably qualified Tree Surgeon or Arborist. The Arboricultural Association can offer advice on tree care and finding a tree care professional.
