Additional temporary car parking for users of the south’s newest leisure centre, Places Leisure Eastleigh, is being provided when it opens on Tuesday 28 November.
The area currently occupied by the contractor Interserve’s compound is being transformed into a visitor car park to coincide with the day of opening. The car park will be hard standing and benefit from lighting but will not have marked parking bays. The car park will also include an area adjacent to the new leisure centre for disabled badge holders.
Signs to direct visitors to the new temporary car parking area will be in place and staff will be on hand to help direct visitors at busy periods.
