Medieval Festival this weekend

Eastleigh town centre will be celebrating all that is Olde England tomorrow, Saturday 20 May, from 11am to 4pm.

Organised by Eastleigh Business Improvement District, the day will include live medieval re-enactments, falconry displays and juggling workshops at Leigh Road Recreational Ground.

Enjoy free entertainment from the Wessex Ferret Club, indulge your inner Robin Hood with free, have-a-go archery, and hear music from the Medieval Minstrels.

Travel back in time to the days of dragons, spells and princesses with a medieval puppet show, hog roast, jesters, bouncy castle, petting farm and much more.

Take part in the Best Dressed Knight & Princess competition and you could be in with a chance of winning a fantastic prize.

Registration for the fancy dress competition starts from 2pm in the Swan Centre with judging at 3pm.

Don’t miss out on what promises to be a great family day out. Entry is free
