A full planning application for a new Hendy car showroom on part of the former magistrates court site and part of the old civic offices site has been received by Eastleigh Borough Council.
The application for a 1.14 hectare site alongside Leigh Road, Eastleigh includes provision for the construction of a car dealership comprising three showroom buildings, car display courtyard on the site frontage and separate sales tent. It also includes proposals for a workshop, rear service yard, car parking, landscaping and access.
The full planning application was submitted following a resolution to grant outline planning permission by Eastleigh Local Area Committee in May 2016. The outline planning application set out the type of uses that the Council would consider for the site including a car showroom.
