Residents still have until 5pm this Wednesday (17 February) to give their views on potential development, including housing, across Eastleigh Borough.
There are several routes by which residents can feed in their comments on the Eastleigh Borough Local Plan: the consultation document, ‘Eastleigh Borough Local Plan 2011-36 – Issues and Options’, together with consultation forms and accompanying material, can all be viewed at the Eastleigh House civic offices, at parish or town council offices around the borough, at local libraries - or online at www.eastleigh.gov.uk/lp36. Residents can also email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The eight-week consultation process started just before Christmas and included a touring exhibition through January, attended by more than 1,500 residents, held in neighbourhoods where development might be an option.
Views are being invited on a range of issues - including the amount of development needed in Eastleigh; where new developments should be located, and how they might be delivered.
The local plan public consultation runs until 5pm on Wednesday and all responses should be received by then.
