Vintage Market

Eastleigh Town Centre is set to see one of its busiest days of the year as it hosts a vintage market as part of the annual Mardi Gras that returns this year celebrating a 1945 theme on Saturday 19 September from 10am-7pm.

The recently re-developed Market Place, home to Eastleigh’s Thursday and Saturday markets is for the first time to play host to something a little different to the traditional market. The vintage market will include over 40 vintage themed stalls offering a range of clothing, jewellery, homeware and gifts.

Cabinet Lead for Business & Skills Cllr Suzy Hamel said “We are pleased to be supporting the Vintage Market coming to Eastleigh town centre as part of our ongoing investment in our town. I encourage local people to come along and enjoy the exciting range of goods and products on offer.”

The Vintage Market is being organised in partnership with Yellow Vintage who are renowned around the South for their popular vintage fairs regularly held at prestigious locations such as the Ageas Bowl. This day is proving to be the place to be for vintage-lovers as the Vintage Market will be situated next to Leigh Road Recreation Ground where the Mardi Gras will have vintage vehicles, live music and entertainment in full swing!
