Each year customers are reminded that garden waste is not collected for two weeks over the Christmas period. This year, the last day for garden waste collections is Friday 18 December. The service resumes on Monday 4 January.
Councillor Rupert Kyrle, Eastleigh Borough Council’s Cabinet Member leading on Environment and Sustainability, said: “The Christmas period is a particularly busy time for our Waste and Recycling teams and checking your revised collection calendar to make sure you put your bin out on time will make their lives easier - and help the service run as efficiently as possible.”
