What we do
The Corporate Communications team sits within the Chief Executive’s Unit. We deal with all external and internal communications, including media relations, for and on behalf of the Council. The Mayoralty is also part of the team.

We aim to answer your enquiry quickly and will be open and honest. We are also able to facilitate media interviews and photo opportunities when appropriate.
We have a media pack outlining how businesses can access great value advertising and promotional options through the Council’s publications, website, outdoor sites and community projects. These include roundabout sponsorship from around £20 per week and Borough News advertising reaching 52,000 households from £250 per issue.
