Organised walks led by a qualified walk leader. We organise 11 walks every week throughout the year come rain or shine.
Walking is a great calorie burner. It is low intensity, low impact, sustainable and easy to do. All you need is a good pair of shoes, suitable clothing for the weather and enthusiasm! Come along and join in with this great form of exercise, which is healthy, fun and free.
Regular brisk walking can help prevent heart disease, stroke, osteoporosis, high blood pressure, obesity and diabetes. All walk leaders are volunteers who help us to help the local community to improve their health, fitness and well being.

Each walk lasts approximately one hour with a distance of three miles covered.
