Sunday 6 October, any time between 10.30 and 12.30pm
BOOKING IS REQUIRED to guarantee entry to the Kingfisher Barn where the event is taking place to manage numbers. Places may be available on the door, but this isn't guaranteed.
Please note: The bookings are for arrival times only and due to space - we may ask for buggies/prams to be left outside whilst you are inside the Kingfisher Barn (across from the Woodland Cafe/Information Desk). There will be a member of staff on the door to watch over them.
A representative from the New Forest Wildlife Park will be there and their hedgehogs haven't yet begun to hibernate, then they will also be bringing at least one of their resident 'hogs!
We also have Hamble Hedgehogs (rescue and rehabilitation centre) in attendance with an African Pygmy Hedgehog.
Activities will be suitable for three year olds and above and will include:
badge-making(£1 / two for £1.50)
clay hedgehogs (£2)
short hedgehog fact trail nearby (£1, which goes to the People's Trust for Endangered Species), entry to the barn is note required for this activity
The first ten to complete will receive a complimentary children's ticket to the New Forest Wildlife Park
There is a charge for these activities, but not for entry to the barn.
