Itchen Valley Country Park is set in 440 acres of beautiful water meadows, woodland and meadows and has been recognised with a Green Flag Award® for the last four years.
Country Park opening times:
Our gates open at 8.30am every day and close at 7pm during GMT and 9.30pm during BST.
Visitor Centre opening hours:
April - August: Every day 10.30am - 5pm
September: Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Open 10.30am - 5pm on other weekdays and weekends
October - March: Open on weekends and during school holidays only, 10.30am - 4.30pm

Straddling the River Itchen, Itchen Valley Country Park is situated just off the A27. By car exit the M27 at Junction 5 from the west, or Junction 7 from the east. Follow the brown tourist signs to the Park on the A27 (towards West End) from either direction.
Entry to Itchen Valley Country Park is free. You only need to pay for parking for the time that you are visiting; your parking fee will help support all that we do.

Along with a range of other benefits, holders of joint and family Hampshire Cultural Trust Culture Cards can park for free at Itchen Valley Country Park. You’ll be issued with a car sticker when you buy your membership from them
Our one mile Forest Trail is accessible and we have an electric scooter available to borrow from our Visitor Centre. Please contact us in advance to reserve the scooter for your visit.
We have a wheelchair accessible toilet and our Visitor Centre, shop and cafe are all on ground floor level.
We have priority parking for Blue Badge holders in our main car park.
