The Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) explains how we involve the community on planning matters including the preparation of the next Local Plan and on planning applications.
An updated SCI was adopted by Cabinet on 7 December 2023.

The revised SCI reflects changes in how the Council works and in national policy and legislation. It replaces the adopted SCI (2015) and the Addendum SCI (2020).
