When will further evidence and technical studies be complete and published?
At the meeting of the full Council in December 2017, it was agreed that delegated authority be given to the Chief Executive to finalise the wording of the Local Plan 2016-2036. It was made clear at the meeting that this is simply to ratify the decision made by Council and must be supported by the evidence of the various technical studies that are, although well advanced, still to be finalised.
To date, we continue to work with experts and partners to gather the remaining technical evidence needed. Once we have received the final technical studies, we will publish the reports on our website under the supporting evidence section.
We are working within the published Local Development scheme timeline (LDS) that was agreed at full Council on 17 December.
