21 December

The Public Inquiry will now be held as a formal Hearing.

Notification letters have been sent to residents who commented on the planning application, to explain how they can get involved with the Hearing.

The Hearing will commence at 10am and will be held at Hedge End Club, 4 Bursledon Road, Hedge End, Southampton SO30 0BR. The duration of the Hearing will be 2 days

You may attend the Hearing if you wish and at the discretion of the Inspector speak at the event. If you intend to speak, you should attend the start of the Hearing and inform the Inspector of your intention.

The Inspector also has the discretion to accept written representations at the event, so you may, if you prefer, hand them in and ask that he/she accepts them.

In order to provide appropriate seating and facilities, please email planning@eastleigh.gov.uk or call 023 8068 8000 by 10 January 2023 if you would like to speak at the Hearing or require information about facilities available at the venue for people with disabilities, e.g. parking space, access and seating arrangements etc.

If you are unable to attend in person but would like the opportunity to participate virtually, please contact us (as per the details above) by 5 January 2023. Please be advised that to participate virtually, you would require access to a desktop computer, laptop or tablet.

The Inquiry will commence at 10am on Tuesday 1 November 2022. From 2-4 November, and 8-11 November, the Inquiry will commence at 9.30am at Hedge End Social Club, 4 Bursledon Road, Hedge End, Southampton, SO30 0BR.

You may attend the Inquiry if you wish and at the discretion of the Inspector take part in the discussion. In order to provide appropriate seating and facilities at the venue, please email planning@eastleigh.gov.uk quoting reference F/20/89488, or call 023 8068 8000, by Friday 28 October 2022 if you would like to participate in the public session or require information about facilities available at the venue.

If you are unable to attend in person but would like the opportunity to participate virtually, please email or telephone the Council (as per the details above) to confirm by Tuesday 18 October 2022. Please be advised that to particulate virtually, you would require access to a desk top computer, laptop or tablet. Once registered, you will receive correspondence so we can test your connection and ensure you are able to attend virtually on the day. If you chose to participate virtually then we would also require a written statement from you in the event that the connection fails on the day and we are unable to reach you.
