What is DPI?
DPI stands for Dots Per Image which means the number of dots of ink per inch that a printer deposits on a piece of paper. So, 300 DPI means that a printer will output 300 tiny dots of ink to fill every inch of the print. 300 DPI is the standard print resolution for high resolution output.
- You can change your picture quality in most digital camera's under the menu button - scroll through to either your tab for 'settings' or 'quality' and select RAW. RAW is the highest format for capturing detail and retaining it for print. If you're using a phone or tablet, you can alter your image quality once you've uploaded your image to your computer. File > Settings > Image quality > 300 dpi - once edited you'll want to make sure that the image isn't blurry or pixelated before sending it to us.
