Please book a place for each person who will be attending.
Families are invited to take part in a series of practical conservation tasks on countryside sites in the borough. You will learn about how different habitats are managed for wildlife and benefit from being active in the outdoors. The first task is Himalayan Balsam pulling at Lakeside on Thursday 3rd June, followed by tasks at Itchen Valley Country Park, Hiltingbury Lakes and Telegraph Woods in the summer holidays. The last task is coppicing in the woodland at Itchen Valley Country Park on Sat 25 September. The tasks are free of charge, but places must be booked online as numbers are limited.
