Imaginations prepare, it's time to Take Flight!
Catering for the very youngest to the almost grown up, Take Flight will take you on a journey from playful to urgent via theatre, dance, magic, music, craft and more.
Enjoy inspiring performances, events and activities with family and friends, including performance created by local children and young people.
The festival runs from March - April 2023.

Fly Me To The Moon
It could be a bird, it could be a plane or even a hot air balloon! Fill the skies in our Atrium Space and help us make it to the moon by crafting your own paper flying creations. Anything that flies goes, so let your imagination take flight.
Friday 31 March to Sunday 16 April (closed 9 & 10 April)
No need to book, just drop in during the Easter Holidays.

Point Youth Dance Company Taster Workshop
Get a taste of Youth Dance sessions ahead of a jam packed Summer term, bringing you the chance to join in with a free session to explore contemporary dance technique and fun creative activities.
Tuesday 4 April, 10am, 11am & 12pm

Give and Take: Kids Clothes and Toys
Plenty of wear left in it yet?! Join us for a special clothes swap featuring items for babies, children and teenagers.
Drop off unwanted clothes, toys or child accessories between 11am and 12pm. Visit between 1pm and 3pm and help yourself to any item you would like.
Tuesday 4 April, 11am to 3pm
No need to book, just turn up on the day. This event is free but we welcome a suggested donation of £3 to help run future events.

Wonder Gig for Big Kids
The team behind our sell out Wonder Gigs, present an extra special gig for children aged 4-9 (younger siblings welcome).
Wonder Gigs for Big Kids will include a live set from musician Sophie Ross along with games, activities and plenty of opportunities to dance and sing along.
All songs are accessible and enjoyable for both big and small ears alike.
No pressure and no judgement; just a fun, interactive time for children and their grown up and some great tunes.
