A festival of events celebrating the creative brilliance of the next generation

Imaginations prepare, it's time to Take Flight!

Catering for the very youngest to the almost grown up, Take Flight will take you on a journey from playful to urgent via theatre, dance, magic, music, craft and more. 

Enjoy inspiring performances, events and activities with family and friends, including performance created by local children and young people.

The festival runs from March - April 2023.

Give and Take: Kids Clothes and Toys

Plenty of wear left in it yet?! Join us for a special clothes swap featuring items for babies, children and teenagers.

Drop off unwanted clothes, toys or child accessories between 11am and 12pm. Visit between 1pm and 3pm and help yourself to any item you would like.

Tuesday 4 April, 11am to 3pm

No need to book, just turn up on the day. This event is free but we welcome a suggested donation of £3 to help run future events.


Kids Write Songs Web

Kids Write Songs

Kids of all ages are invited to join us at one of our drop in writing sessions to create songs about the things that really matter when you're 7 (or 9, or 4, or 94).

Little imaginations lead the way with guidance from singer / songwriter Sophie Ross and Theatre Maker Sarah Shephard. The children's work will be developed by a team of professional performers and shared in our studio theatre.
