Most bus services in South Hampshire are now equipped with free on-board Wi-Fi internet access and operated with low floor buses.  This means most buses are accessible to people with pushchairs, buggies or mobility scooters and whilst on the bus, you can use your time to go shopping online, use facebook or twitter, or do work- whilst you let someone else take care of the driving.

The Solent Go travelcard can be used on buses across Eastleigh.  This travelcard helps make bus travel easier:

  • Hop-on and hop-off public transport whenever you like, saving you time and speeding up bus journeys Solent Go
  • No need to to carry the correct change or multiple paper tickets
  • The card covers bus and ferry travel and car clubs across the Solent area

More information is available at the Solent Go website

At some of the bus stops on the main Bluestar 1 route (Southampton-Chandler's Ford- Winchester) we have installed cycle parking to make it easier for you to cycle to the bus stop, saving time compared to walking from further afield.  More information about bus stop cycle parking
