Housing for Our Older Residents

Sheltered Accommodation

If you wish to apply for sheltered accommodation in the Borough you only need to complete one application form for Hampshire Homechoice.  You are able to apply to join the Register through this website or, alternatively, contact us and we will arrange to send you a form in the post.
Not all the Housing Associations working in the Borough providing sheltered accommodation are part of the combined register and therefore you will need to contact them direct.

Residential, Nursing and Extra Care

If you are finding it difficult to manage at home, there are now more choices available to help make your life easier.

Extra Care Housing offers the opportunity to have your own front door, but with care and support on hand 24 hours a day, every day. You could also have help to stay in your current home, or move into a residential or nursing care home if this is right for you.

Disabled Facilities Grants help people who are, or could be, registered as disabled and who would otherwise be unable to live independently.
