New On-street parking agency agreement
Eastleigh Borough Council’s Cabinet last night approved recommendations to adopt a new Decriminalised (On-street) Parking Agency Agreement from Hampshire County Council (HCC).
In March 2018 HCC announced that they would take back the control of On-street parking across the whole of Hampshire. The new agreement includes changes to permit charges across Hampshire with the introduction of minimum £50 charges for all residential permits.
Eastleigh has negotiated transitional arrangements with HCC to minimise the impact for those residents who are part of the parking permit scheme over the next three years.
The Council will continue to negotiate with HCC on all details of the new agreement. We will then write to all residents who are part of the parking permit scheme to inform them of the changes and what this means for them.
