Following the initial landscaping works on this development we have been assessing designs for the new play area that will be located on the open space area on Le Marechal Avenue opposite Hollowbread Gardens on Kestrel Park, Bursledon.

This play area is being funded by the developer and is part of the community benefits outlined in the planning requirements as agreed by Eastleigh Borough Council.

We propose to install the prefered play area design by April 2023, it is anticipated that the play area will be used by children up to 11 years of age.

Before we go ahead with the installation, we would welcome your thoughts and comments on the three proposed designs - see below. (Images are for illustrative purposes only)

We would welcome any comments you may wish to share about the proposed play area and would be grateful to receive comments to the email address below by 10th February 2023. If you would like any further information, please contact send an email to steve.ross@eastleigh.gov.uk
