Find out about Lakes transformation at Hiltingbury Extrav
Plans for popular beauty spot unveiled at event this weekend

The annual Hiltingbury Extrav will be a great opportunity for local residents to find out more about the Hiltingbury Lakes transformation happening in the next few months.
The much needed work will restore the popular beauty spot back to its former glory by: improving water flows through the lakes, removing invasive plants, protecting wildlife, improving paths, providing better visitor information and restoring historical woodland.
The Extrav, which has been a major event in the Chandler’s Ford and Hiltingbury area for more than a decade, takes place this Sunday 22 September on Hiltingbury Recreation Ground and promises entertainment for all the family and visitors will be able to find out about planned work to transform the nearby Hiltingbury Lakes.
The event will run from 12pm to 5:30pm offering a range of activities including; circus clowns, a climbing wall, dog shows, stalls, pony rides and a sheepdog display to name a few.
As part of the ongoing work in the area the team are inviting volunteers to get involved with the project to help with clearing the site and protecting the environment during the transformation.
To get involved with the Hiltingbury Lakes transformation and to find out more there will be a stand at the event on Sunday. Alternatively contact hiltingburylakes@eastleigh.gov.uk or visit Eastleigh.gov.uk/hiltingburylakes
