Eastleigh Borough Council is working alongside community organisations, One Community and Hampshire County Council to help establish this local support hub. The service will provide a delivery service to some of our most vulnerable residents who don’t already have family or friends support and to a wider group of people who are vulnerable and needing to self-isolate.
This service will include the delivery of food and other essentials, collection of prescription medicine, and social support for those needing someone to talk to (remotely) during the period of isolation.
People who have requests for help or offers of help can also directly contact the three community groups that are already providing this vital service:
If you live in Chandlers Ford Parish (Chandlers Ford, Hiltingbury, Velmore) i.e. west of the M3, please contact
If you live in Eastleigh town, Boyatt Wood, Bishopstoke, Fair Oak or Horton Heath, please contact
Eastleigh Community Aid
If you live in Hedge End, West End, Botley, Bursledon, Hamble, or Netley, please contact:
Kings Community Church
Contact by phone via Eastleigh Borough Council on 023 8068 8000
The Council’s key role is to help co-ordinate and support these community organisations, and to play our own part in helping local people So as well as contacting the three groups above, people who have requests for help or offers of help can also contact Eastleigh Borough Council directly by phoning 023 8068 8000 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org

Council Leader Councillor Keith House, said: “We have many fantastic voluntary orqanisations in the Borough who, alongside the many local people who have come forward to volunteer their services, are providing amazing support to help our residents who may be vulnerable or self-isolating. This community hub will ensure that these efforts are effectively coordinated across the Borough to ensure this amazing community spirit is able to help those currently in need.”
