The Borough of Eastleigh is set to welcome the England, Australia and Sri Lanka and cricket teams together with thousands of cricket fans from throughout the country for two warm up games ahead of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.
England entertain Australia on Saturday 25 May and Australia play Sri Lanka on Monday 27 May. Both games start at 10.30am.
Council Leader Councillor Keith House says,”We are delighted to welcome the players, officials, media and of course the fans to the borough to enjoy our prestigious and world class cricket venue. I hope everyone enjoys this bank holiday weekend of cricket”

Advance road signs for the match, that starts at 10.30am and should finish around 6-7pm, are up around the area and the Council will be carrying out plans for temporary coning of residential areas and traffic management arrangements for the match. Road closures will be in place at the close of play to help pedestrians and vehicles leave the site. Spectators are encouraged to arrive at the Ageas Bowl in plenty of time to allow for enhanced security checks that will be carried out.
