Senior Asset Manager
Salary Band 10 (£43,309 - £46,801)
Full Time – 37 hours
2 year fixed term contract

As part of our continued growth, Eastleigh Borough Council are now seeking a Senior Asset Manager on a 2 year contract on a full time basis, in order to provide a commercially focussed asset management service across our £230M plus investment and operational property portfolio. Our investment property portfolio is attractive and diverse, encompassing an array of property types from leisure facilities, such as the distinguished Ageas Bowl, through to multi-let offices, retail sites and industrial estates.
This investment portfolio plays an integral part in generating an income for the Council, which in turn is invested back into services, and will require you to provide support across a number of property related accountabilities to ensure strategic corporate objectives are met.
Key accountabilities include:
- Undertaking all aspects of property asset management in order to maximise value and income
- Lease renewals
- Rent reviews
- Preparing service charge budgets and reconciliations
- Negotiation of licences
- Investment acquisitions and disposal
- Providing specialist property advice and input to Council projects
In order to succeed as the Senior Asset Manager, you will have considerable, proven experience within an asset or estate management role. A good working knowledge of property management is essential and the successful candidate will hold a property related degree and full membership of the RICS (MRICS/FRICS).
