We are seeking motivated individuals to work in the Service Delivery Directorate within the Visitor Business and Economy Unit. You will assist in developing an enjoyable customer experience at our two Country Parks. You will provide information, advice and assistance to visitors and local schools and groups.

With a love of the outdoors and a passion for ensuring that the sites are presented in first class order, you will be practical in nature and be comfortable working independently. You must have a good level of education or relevant experience and a driving licence with your own transport; it would also be beneficial if you held a First Aid qualification. Your role will involve working with customers so experience in a customer service role in Country Parks and visitor attractions is highly desirable. 

You will be part of a wider team working across the two parks, based primarily at Lakeside in the summer and at Itchen Valley throughout the winter, to ensure the site and buildings are kept clean and tidy, litter picking, answering queries and overseeing room bookings. There will also be the occasional need to cover of the information desk at Itchen Valley Country Park; providing information, support and first aid when needed. The country park team deliver a number of events across the year and you will also help ensure these are successful events, enjoyed by our visitors.
