Case Management Officer - Service Delivery
Salary £17,949 to £19,051 per annum pro rata depending on experience
Fixed term contract for 11 months
30 hours a week – Monday to Friday
Planning or Housing experience desirable.

We are seeking professional and well-motivated individuals to work in Case Management - Service Delivery who can provide a high standard of service for the Council. If you are proactive, flexible and are willing to learn multiple skills, one of these exciting opportunities is for you.
You will be required to liaise with varied Specialists/Team Leaders to help resolve issues efficiently and effectively and apply technical expertise where necessary to deal with a wide range of statutory and non-statutory services and technical activities in order to resolve queries and ensure Council standards, protocols and processes are adhered to at all times.
You will act as the single point of contact for the customer and will be responsible for resolving their query. You will have the ability to recognise complex cases and liaise with the appropriate Specialist for guidance. Your role will be key in promoting online channels to our customers.
Experience in any of the following council services would be desirable:
- Development Management
- Environmental Health
- Customer Care (complaints & compliments)
To be successful in your application, you must have excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritise and have an inclusive and helpful approach. You will be required to demonstrate an ability to handle varying data and queries, remain calm and professional at all times.
You will use computer based information systems for managing customer enquiries therefore proven ICT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly is essential in this role. This is a busy working environment so you will need to be resilient, adaptable and enjoy being part of a great team.
