Energy Saving
We use energy everywhere in the home, from turning on the
heating, watching the TV, to brushing our teeth and it is costing
us more and more each year. Bringing down energy costs through
energy saving is something the Council is always looking at and we
want to help the residents of the Borough do the same.
Reports show that in UK homes, most energy is used on
heating, hot water and running lighting and appliances. The
following pages focus on these areas and have lots of energy saving
tips that cost very little, will save you money and help the
environment.
We recognise many people struggle to pay their bills, so along
with energy saving we have added advice on switching suppliers you and where to seek
further advice on managing your utility
bills.
