Noise from Industry

Factories and other businesses can generate noise from air conditioning and ventilation equipment, pumps and generators, other items of machinery or from the activities on site.

Dredging, road works, quarrying and other activities can also cause noise problems.

These activities can occur at any time but are particularly likely to give rise to disturbance at night or weekends.
