Park and Stride, Hedge End

The new Wildern Lane Park and Stride route was formally launched when the Mayor of Eastleigh joined pupils and staff from Shamblehurst Primary and Wildern Secondary Schools. 

The park and stride route has been substantially upgraded with new dropped kerbs and tarmac surfacing.  It is with a commercial partner Budgens of Hedge End.  They have 90 spaces and hope that parents and visitors to the schools will take advantage of the store whilst undertaking their school run duties.  The route aims to reduce congestion around the school entrances and promote a safe 10 minute walk.
