Meadow Madness & Wild Woods

Sunday 20th May

A new outdoor event for all the family from 11.00am to 4.00pm.

Take part in bushcraft sessions, listen to storytellers, identify butterflies, craft activities, willow craft, green woodworking with shave horses and pole lathes, Forest School area with bushcraft activities for children, beer tent, falconry, food, music and much more still to be confirmed.

Activities will be going on all day for all ages.

Free entry (parking charges apply) - individual stall holders may charge for activities.

Willow Sculpture for beginners, making a insect for the garden 

Itchen Valley Country Park , Eastleigh.

Saturday May 26th

11.30am – 3.45pm  £30 per  person.

An introduction to the art of willow sculpture, We will be using un-processed brown willow which is the most suitable and long lasting dried willow for out side use.

Students  will learn how to work with the willow using a range of  techniques to make the various body and wings shapes to create their own insect for their garden .

All equipment,materials and basic refreshments will be provided.

Charity Fun Walk - raise funds for YOUR charity

Sunday 27th May

10.30am to 2.00pm

Raise funds for your charity with this 5 mile (approx) walk. - Start the walk at 10:30am at the top car park. - Toilets & cafe at halfway point.- Dogs on leads welcome.- BBQ at end of walk (see below).- 90% of what you earn goes to your chosen charity. The remainder goes to Rotary International Projects, including Polio Eradication.- Registration fee: £6.00 (includes 1 BBQ food ticket) Family & friends may purchase additional food at £3 each.

Family Fun Day & Dog Show with It's a Knockout*

Sunday 1st July

Organised by the Jubilee Sailing Trust - a great family day out, with many attractions including It's a Knockout, stalls, face-painting, barbeque, bouncy castle and much, much more

12 noon to 4pm. Adults £1.50 Children 50p. (£1.50 to enter Fun Dog Show)

*They are looking for up to 20 teams of 8-10 people to compete with each other to become ultimate champion of "It's a Knockout".

A deposit of £25 per team is required and each team member must also aim to raise a minimum of £250 in sponsorship (including deposit).
