Volunteers' Next Tasks

Sunday 18th March

Following on from the great success of the fencing along the edge of the forest trail last year we will be installing some more in a different part of the forest trail on the March task. We have recently had contractors in to upgrade and repair the pathway so some new fencing to help keep our visitors on the trail and off of the sensitive woodland plants will complete the project.

Every Wednesday morning at Lakeside Country Park

Tasks vary each week and take place in the morning. If you are interested you need to let the ranger know in advance on 023 8061 7882 or Lakeside@eastleigh.gov.uk

Note

There will be plenty of jobs at either task for those who do not have safety footwear although stout outdoor footwear will be needed. But you must be aware that for anyone lifting or handling large or heavy logs or using digging tools they will be necessary
