Public Transport
Bus Services
Despite the fact that Eastleigh Borough
Council does not have a statutory responsibility to support local
bus services we do take a proactive role in public transport and we
do provide subsidies for selected services. These are services that
do not meet the criterion set out by Hampshire County Council but
are services that the Council feel are socially necessary and
services that fill important gaps in the local network.
