Information on all bus services operating in the Borough is

First Hampshire
First Hampshire operate
the following services:

4/4A/X4 running between Gosport, Fareham and
Portsmouth to Southampton, with four buses per hour
between Bursledon, Lowford and Southampton City
Centre

6/6a which provides three buses an hour between
Hamble, Butlocks Heath, Netley, Woolston and Southampton city
centre (6a continues to St George's School) . Some
journeys are supported by EBC.

8/8a/8b which provides four buses an hour between
Hedge End, West End, Chartwell Green, Bitterne and Southampton
City Centre (8a continues to Southampton General Hospital, 8b
serves Botley)

Bluestar
Bluestar operate
the following services:

Velvet
Velvet operate
the following services:

Velvet A which provides an half-hourly service
between Eastleigh, West End, Hedge End and Southampton. Some
journeys are supported by EBC.

Velvet B which provides a twice daily service
between Eastleigh, Hedge End, Bursledon, Netley and Hamble (Mondays
to Fridays only) . This service is supported by EBC.

Velvet M, which provides an hourly service between
Eastleigh, Fair Oak and Marwell Zoo on weekends and public
holidays until September 1st, and every day during the school
summer holidays.

Velvet C1 which provides an hourly service between
Eastleigh, Velmore, Chandlers Ford and Hiltingbury (Thursday,
Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday daytime). This service is
supported by EBC.

Velvet E8 (Thursday to Sunday evenings) which
provides an hourly service between Eastleigh and Boyatt
Wood

Uni-link operate the following services:

Brijan
Brijan operate the following
services:

7 which provides an hourly service between Waltham
Chase, Swanmore, Bishop's Waltham, West End, Bitterne and
Southampton

8 which provides an hourly service between Waltham
Chase, Swanmore, Bishop's Waltham, Botley, Hedge End and
Eastleigh
- Service
15 which provides buses every two hours
between Hamble, Netley, Bursledon and Hedge End

Taxi Share Services
A shared taxi service with fares similar to bus services is
operated in some areas. Passengers need to book in advance
and the journey will be operated by a taxi. The links below provide

Nightbuses
There is a network of nightbus
services which provide affordable late night bus travel from
Southampton city centre to various destinations across Eastleigh
Borough on Friday and Saturday nights from midnight to 3am.
Some services also serve Eastleigh town centre, which also has good

Train services
Rail stations in the Borough are located at:

Trains serving Eastleigh Borough are operated by South West Trains,
Cross Country
Trains and Southern.
The Three Rivers Community Rail Partnership aims to increase
rail patronage at Southampton Central, Southampton Airport Parkway,
Eastleigh, Chandler’s Ford, Romsey and Salisbury. For more

Three Rivers Community Rail Partnership are providing a free bus
serving Romsey and Motisfont and Dunbridge railway stations running
from Romsey station to Stockbridge High Street.
Coach services
Megabus operate scheduled coach
services from Southampton Airport to various destinations.
