Permit parking scheme

Hamble Residents' Parking Permit Application Form word version

Residential and commercial properties located within the red area shown on the permit parking plan(pdf) are entitled to up to two parking permits.

Resident permits are issued for individual vehicles, but two vehicle registrations can be included on business permits.

The following annual charges apply:

First residential permit £50; second permit £50.

First business permit £100; second permit £100.

Residential properties are entitled to free permits for their visitors. Each property will be entitled to 100 visitor permits. This increases by 25 for each additional adult residing at a particular address. For example, if three adults live at a property 150 visitor permits will be available.

Resident and business permits are valid in on-street areas designated for permit holders. They are also valid in the Square Car Park and on-street parking bays where there is a time limit on parking if signs specify that permit holders are exempt. Eg “2 hours, no return within 3 hours or permit holders”.

Visitor permits, which are valid for a single day, are not valid in the Square Car Park or any time limited parking bays.

Visitors Permits are issued locally by Hamble-le-Rice Parish Council.

Full and Visitors permits can be obtained from Eastleigh Borough Council
