Work has begun on removing the scrub and small trees behind the existing fence line prior to the fence line being relocated.

The existing fence will be relocated 3500mm back from the existing kerb.  Heras fence will be used at any openings to maintain the security of the school lands.

The existing section of path from the new development is at a higher level, therefore a second section of kerb has been laid to raise the level at location

C&W are to provide a replacement cover and supervise installation at the new level.  No work can progress on this cover until 4/1/11 as C&W have a freeze on works to their apparatus.

Existing access from Crestwood View has required the altering of the levels to raise up to the path level. Includes a section of double height kerb.

After completion of replacement Daffodil bulb planting new turf pinned to bank.  This should protect the bulbs and reduce time for establishment of grass to hold bank.

Works also progressing on Shakespeare for connection from College entrance to new path on Woodside.  Section of bank has been excavated and new slab on edge along bank to be erected 400mm above proposed footway level.

9th Feb 11
