Southampton Art Society Spring Exhibition
Members from Southampton Art Society will be showcasing their work this Spring. A collection of work by amateur and professional artists with the theme of ‘Nature’ will be on display in the Woodland Café from March until May.
The artwork will be for sale at the end of the exhibition.

SOLD OUT Craft and Natter - Pyrography and Felting
Pyrography is a wood burning artform used to create patterns and writing on wood. You will be guided through each technique and after a few practice turns to build your confidence you will be able to design your very own wooden coaster.
Wet Felting involves using coloured wool tops, soap, water and friction to create your own piece of unique flower art.
£7 Refreshments are provided and we suggest booking your place early as these sessions sell out fast.

We’re really excited to welcome Popell Barns Mobile Farm to Itchen Valley this summer. Meet Max the donkey, Dot & Dolly a pair of friendly sheep plus rabbits and guinea pigs! Children can enjoy getting to know these animals in a safe setting, it’s a wonderful way for children to learn and an enjoyable experience for adults too!

Join the craft team this summer and be inspired by the outdoors in this fun nature fuelled workshop! Sessions are held in The Hide, our newest community building overlooking our top fields, which are abundant with seasonal flora, allow yourself to relax in this tranquil setting with likeminded people whilst learning new skills.
You will learn how to make your very own piece of botanical art using clay and flora found in the grounds of the park. Refreshments are provided, please book early to guarantee a place on this popular workshop.

🦋 Experience the excitement, race against the clock and take part in the parks first ever BioBlitz! This very special 24 - hour event runs nation wide, and we can’t wait for you to join! Itchen Valley Country Park is home to so much wildlife, we’re species rich in reptiles, birds, insects which love to inhabit our ancient woodlands and wonderful wildflowers.
🔎 Head to the bio-hub at our new events space by the Woodland Café to explore free activity stalls, meet the experts to receive lots of nature knowledge and so much more!
