Recently Completed Developments

Completed developments within the Eastleigh borough will include a variety of different types of housing, which may include social rented, low cost home ownership, intermediate rented and older persons. Some of these homes will be wheelchair accessible.

Construction on the developments below has finished and the properties will have already been advertised. Enquiries regarding whether there are any properties still to rent or sell on these developments, should be made directly to the appropriate Housing Association.

 

South Street, EastleighSouth Street

This site was built by Bovis Homes and Barratt Homes in conjunction with First Wessex (formerly Atlantic Housing Limited). The development provided a total of 149 affordable homes in a range of sizes which were made available for both rent and Shared Ownership.

 

Dowd's Farm, Hedge EndDowds Farm

This site was developed by Bovis Homes and Taylor Woodrow . The development was carried out in phases over a number of years and included a new school and a large and attractive parkland area.

The scheme delivered over 230 affordable homes which were developed in conjunction with Radian (formerly Swaythling Housing Society). The affordable homes delivered were in a range of sizes which have been made available for both rent and Shared Ownership.

 

Station Hotel, Netley AbbeyStation Public House

This was developed in conjunction with Radian (formerly Swaythling Housing Society) and included 37 affordable homes in a range of sizes. The scheme provided a mixture of both rented and Shared Ownership homes.

 

 

Kings Copse SchoolKings Copse Flats, Hedge End

This site was developed by Foreman Homes in conjunction with First Wessex (formerly Atlantic Housing Limited). The development provided a total of 36 affordable housing units which were a mixture of houses and flats and were made available for both rent and Shared Ownership.

 

 

Velmore Estate, Chandler's Fordbungalows

This site was redeveloped by Atlantic Housing Limited and involved the demolition of 100 bungalows and the construction of 189 new units of housing, including flats, houses and bungalows.
