Eastleigh owes its success to
its location at the hub of the South Coast’s transport
networks. The Borough sits at the junction of the M3 and M27
motorways, and at the junction of several railway lines with links
to London, the Midlands and North, and along the South Coast to
both East and West. Southampton International Airport, one of
the fastest growing airports in the UK, is also located in the
Borough.
With a strong tradition of
manufacturing and engineering, Eastleigh is being reborn with the
upcoming development of the South Hampshire Strategic Employment
Zone and regeneration of the town centre.
