The Eastleigh Scheme covers Eastleigh and Chandler's Ford Stations.

Southampton Airport Parkway is part of the Southampton Scheme and Unilink will be joining this scheme shortly

(one station cannot be part of two schemes). 

When does Eastleigh PLUSBUS start?

From Sunday 7 September 2008 there will be a PLUSBUS ticket available for the Eastleigh area, which will be accepted for free travel on bus services operated by: Wilts & Dorset ‘BlueStar’, First, Stagecoach and Black Velvet.

What do the tickets look like?

PLUSBUS can be bought with most types of train ticket, including singles, day returns, period returns. Season tickets are available for 7-days, 1-month, 3-months and a year. The tickets themselves are standard train tickets (orange band across top & bottom

[grey band for 3-month and annual seasons). The origin (‘From’), or destination (‘To’) station name on the ticket is always followed by ‘+BUS’

See example, a train ticket to Eastleigh valid for PLUSBUS in the town shows: ‘EASTLEIGH+BUS’. For most PLUSBUS day tickets the ‘Ticket Type’ section of the rail ticket also shows: ‘PLUSBUS DAY’

Were can PLUSBUS customers go with their ticket?

The PLUSBUS ticket can be used for unlimited bus travel anywhere within the entire Eastleigh area during the ‘Start date’ shown on the rail ticket. Bus travel does NOT have to start or finish at the rail station. It is possible you will have commuters using PLUSBUS season tickets to catch the bus to the station (to avoiding problems and expense of parking), as well as leisure travellers during the daytime and the evening. Don’t forget that PLUSBUS tickets are valid for any bus journey in the relevant zone.
