View the Local Plan Proposals Map
using our online mapping system.
The Local Plan Map is made up of
3 map categories which show designations and
policies:
- Borough Wide
Policies - designations and policies that apply to
the whole plan area
- Urban Edge Policies - policies that apply
within the particular urban area selected. The policies are
not site specific. For instance, within the Hamble urban edge
a policy considers the provision of a hotel within the Hamble urban
area
- Site Policies - policies that apply to
the particular site selected
You can choose to view map layers individually or all
together. A tick list of designations and
policies can be switched on or off. Using the
'get info' button on the map displays basic
information about the selected policy and gives the option to
view the relevant section in the local plan document.
