Wildlife Recording

Your sightings are important. Recording the wildlife you see and reporting it allows organisations such as the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust and the Hampshire Biodiversity Information Centre to establish and monitor the distribution of species.

Report Your Sightings of Frogs and Toads!

We will pass the information that you submit in these recording forms to the Hampshire Amphibian and Reptile Group who will enter them onto their database. Records will feed into a countywide amphibian recording scheme aimed at mapping the distribution of native amphibian species. Contact details will be not be passed on to any third parties with out the consent of the recorder. However, your name will form part of the record that is collected and disseminated.

  • Map of Toad Sightings submitted so far - coming soon

Only 2 toad records have been submitted so far. Unfortunately both records were submitted without a post code or a grid reference so we are unable to map them. Are there any more toads out there? Please tell us!
