National Statistics
The government collects and publishes a wide range of statistics
about local areas.
Most government statistics are collected by National Statistics
and for local areas they are published on one of two websites:
Neighbourhood Statistics
The Neighbourhood Statistics
website is designed to help people and organisations working
on neighbourhood renewal projects, and holds a variety of
demographic and social statistics for local authorities and smaller
areas.
NOMIS
The NOMIS service has been available for
many years, and is a useful source of workforce related statistics
for local areas.
